Brainstorming on AI & Data privacy - Didier Coeurnelle, Co-chair Heales

August 31, 2021

Didier Coeurnelle is one of the most active people in the longevity community, With the Heales organization where he is Co-chair they donated twice a $25,000 donation to rat plasma transfusion trial and they host events and promote longevity science. Check up Their next event on the 9th of September where they will discuss Big Data, A.I., and Healthy Longevity.

We brainstormed on the challenges that data privacy shares referring to medical research and Didier explained about their Donations to  Dr. Rodolfo Goya Study and to Dr. Harold Katcher study.

Heales is the first sponsor of the LongHack2021, a longevity hackathon that is on a mission to spread the work on longevity science around the world.

The Israeli Starting point - Itzahk Dershowitz

The Israeli Starting point - Itzahk Dershowitz

July 28, 2021

I am so happy to host Itzhak Dershwitz the COO at Centarix Biotech.

1. Finally! an Israeli Biotech company devoted deeply to the understanding of Aging and Drug development.

2. Itzahk gave me the chance to understand what are biomarkers and rejuvenating cell programming.

Centarix is conducting a clinical experiment these days with Prof. David Leibovitz from Hadassa Hospital, The purpose of the experiment is to develop a diagnostic tool for biological age that will make it possible to evaluate the success of anti-aging / health-enhancing treatments in the future.

Saving Happy Days -David Golan Viz.AI

Saving Happy Days -David Golan Viz.AI

January 18, 2021

Coming out of a stroke is not the only goal in today's modern care, My guest David Golan is the CTO & Co founder of Viz.AI, their image AI technology is already transforming the way hospitals in the U.S. identify and treat stroke patients, much faster and more accurate saving both for the patient healthy cognitive days in his future life and costs for the health system.

It was a pleasure to host David and listen to him explaining about the company, product and strokes. I hope to host more guests with a working product such as David in the future.

Telomerase therapy - Dr. Micheal Fossel

Telomerase therapy - Dr. Micheal Fossel

December 10, 2020

Some people see Alzheimer drug development as the graveyard of biotech companies, For Dr. Fossel it's the opportunity to discover life itself and start working on a model that can intervene in the aging process and might even reverse the clock. Dr. Fossel the driving force behind Telocyte has been the leader in proposing the use of telomerase to treat human disease for the past two decades. He is one of the most experienced researcher in the field of aging and age related diseases both in industry, lab and clinical. Micheal explained his model to cure Alzheimer and why interfering in micro galia cells is the effective way to move forward. What is important to know about telomere shortening, who are the team members that support his work at Telocyte and much more. Don't miss the opportunity to learn about aging from one of the masters of our times.

Under Construction - Dr. Deborha Toiber BGU

Under Construction - Dr. Deborha Toiber BGU

October 9, 2020

Imagine a substances inside the body with the ability to repair it's own DNA damage, sounds like science fictions? join me and Dr. Debi Toiber and discover the wonders of Sirt6 enzyme. Dr. Toiber lab discovered that SIRT6 is an enzyme that recognizes DNA damage and allows its repair, SIRT6 acts as a sensor of Double strand breaks, and in its absence DNA damage accumulates faster, leading to diseases. In our chat we have touched how her lab is working to understand better the relationship between the aging process and Sirt6 enzyme and how it is behaving in the body, those efforts and their animal model can open a window of opportunity for the study of sporadic (age related) neurodegeneration and point us to future novel treatments.

Death of Death part 1 - José Luis Cordeiro

August 17, 2020

It's time to talk about the acceleration of technology and how it will affect Longevity research. Jose wrote 12 books about technological innovation, the future, social development in Latin America and economics, his last book is about Longevity called The Death of Death was translated into few languages. As a teaching fellow of the Singularity University, he added that "the purpose of Singularity University is to prepare humankind for this transformation".

Cordeiro obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) degrees in Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, USA. He subsequently studied International Economics and Comparative Politics at Georgetown University in Washington, USA, and obtained a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at the Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires (INSEAD) in Fontainebleau, France, majoring in Finance and Globalization. He started his doctoral degree at MIT, continued these studies in Tokyo, Japan, and in due course received his Ph.D. at Universidad Simón Bolívar (USB) in Caracas, Venezuela.[4]

In the first part, we talked about

1. What is transhumanism?.

2. How we will improve our brain capacity and memory.

3. The TransVision Madrid conference.

4. What recent discoveries are getting us closer to control the aging?

5. Plan B Cryonics, can it be done?

And much more...
